Criminal defense
If you or someone you love has been arrested or charged, call or text Shadi. You'll talk to the lawyer, not a call center.
Cases the firm handles
- DUI and driving with a suspended or revoked license
- Drug possession and sale charges
- Theft and grand theft
- Battery, assault and domestic violence charges
- Violation of probation and violation of an injunction
- Misdemeanors and felonies in state court
Experience on this side of the courtroom
Shadi served as an assistant public defender in Florida's Sixth Judicial Circuit, from 2018 to 2019 and again from 2021 to 2024, and worked in private practice before opening his own firm. He prepares each case as if it will go to trial and keeps you informed at every court date.
What usually happens next
After an arrest, a judge sees you at first appearance, usually within 24 hours, and sets release conditions. Then comes the arraignment, where you enter a plea, followed by discovery, when the defense gets the State's evidence. Most cases resolve through a negotiated outcome, a dismissal or a trial. Getting a lawyer early gives you more options at each step.
